Pingstreams Chat: Whereabouts
Section titled “Pingstreams Chat: Whereabouts”You’ll find your chat section as the very first icon of your dashboard on the left sidebar.

Once you click on a single conversation, you’ll have all of the client’s info at a glance on the right side of your screen.

Info Available About Your Conversations
Section titled “Info Available About Your Conversations”If you look at the right side of your chat, you’ll get all sorts of info about your client, including:
- Email address
- Date and time of interaction
- Geolocation information
- Browser and device details
- Previous conversation history
- Custom fields and attributes
Once the conversation has come to an end, you can easily archive it by using the top Resolve button.
Chat Management Options
Section titled “Chat Management Options”If you click on the three dots button (⋮), a dropdown menu appears with the following options:
- View contact - Access detailed customer information
- Reassign - Assign the conversation to another agent
- Add teammate - Add an agent to the conversation
- Leave - Exit the chat
- Transcript - Get the entire chat transcript
- Ban visitor - Block unwanted spammers

Section titled “Key Features”The right sidebar provides:
- Real-time customer data - Essential visitor information displayed instantly
- Quick actions - Easy access to common chat management functions
- Team collaboration - Simple ways to involve colleagues in conversations
- Conversation management - Tools to organize and resolve customer interactions
