How to Connect Your Blocks
Pingstreams allows you to create no-code AI Agents quickly. One of the key aspects of designing an AI workflow is understanding how to use Blocks and connect them together.
In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the process of building a workflow by linking Blocks in Pingstreams.

Step 1: Understanding Blocks, Actions and Connections
Section titled “Step 1: Understanding Blocks, Actions and Connections”In Pingstreams, AI Agent workflows are constructed using:
- Blocks - Built using Actions
- Actions - The building components of Blocks
- Connections - Paths that link Blocks together to create workflows

Step 2: Creating Paths
Section titled “Step 2: Creating Paths”To connect Blocks, you need to create paths.
- Hover over the exit port of any button or Block. It will turn into a green plus icon when you hover on it.
- Click and drag from the exit port to the Block you want to connect it to. This action creates a path.
This path tells your AI Agent where the workflow should go next.
Step 3: Managing Paths
Section titled “Step 3: Managing Paths”Deleting Paths
Section titled “Deleting Paths”If you want to delete a path, click on it. The path will turn light blue to indicate that it is selected.
Delete it using the delete icon, or press the Backspace key on your keyboard to remove the selected path.
Additional Path Options
Section titled “Additional Path Options”When a path is selected, two additional options appear:
-
Hide connector - To simplify reading the graph, you can use the hide option. Click on the connector, then select the 👁️ icon in the menu. The connector will be hidden, and a simple mouse-over will display it again. If you click on the label, the original connector will return to its position.
-
Line text - This option allows you to add a note on each path. Notes help you organize complex workflows more easily and keep your design clear.

Step 4: Understanding the Significance of Paths
Section titled “Step 4: Understanding the Significance of Paths”Paths determine the decisions made by users within the workflow. They guide users through specific interactions based on how they engage with the AI Agent.
Continue adding Blocks and connecting them with paths to build your AI workflow. This represents the next steps in the interaction.
Test it! Always test your workflow to ensure it behaves as expected.
Step 5: Launch Your AI Agent
Section titled “Step 5: Launch Your AI Agent”Once you are satisfied with the workflow, launch your AI Agent to make it available to users on your website or other platforms.
Learn how to install it and connect it to different departments through our installation guides.
Congratulations! You’ve successfully created an AI workflow by linking Blocks with paths in Pingstreams. These paths play a critical role in guiding users through specific interactions based on their choices, making your AI Agent more engaging and user-friendly.
